Since November 2021, a professional Davis Vantage Pro 2 weather station has been installed in collaboration with the Meteonetwork association.
This allows us to know the atmospheric conditions in real-time and to monitor the long-term climate trends of the area. Since we have been living here, we feel particularly lucky; we feel almost privileged to admire not only the silence but also the spectacular mountain landscape of this remote and almost unknown Valle Pesio.
From dawn to dusk, not to mention the stars, the clouds play like waves with the slopes while ‘our Dante,’ the Marguareis, watches immobile. A valley that is still wild and authentic, waiting to be discovered and loved. Thus, the idea emerged, the dream of sharing this daily magic with more people, allowing them to experience true emotions even if they cannot stay at our B&B, those who live far away, those who want to dream for a moment.
As professional photographers, we wanted something unique, something photographic and not just a simple webcam. We are dreamers and then photographers; we know well that if one wants something, they can achieve it.
A long, perhaps tiring project that has now become a reality. Thus, from our perseverance, the FOTO-WEBCAM IDUEVAGAMONDI project was born, which is now a reality thanks to Nikon Italia, Silvil 1983, and Torino Meteo.

What does it consist of?
We wanted something new, something high-performing yet lightweight. Among everything the market offers, we chose the Nikon Z50. A mirrorless camera that, after initial tests, is delivering stunning shots both in backlight and at night. We pushed it up to 6400 ISO with a +6 compensation, and the results are surprising.
The genius of Manuel and Daniele from Torino Meteo in creating custom software, the valuable help from Silvil regarding electrical materials, and the game is almost done… Bringing beauty into homes, onto phones, into people’s eyes without being there. Making known how beautiful Valle Pesio is to the many who do not know it, but above all, spreading the beauty of nature under the sign of professionalism.
Now everything is possible.Now everything is real.
